Bump the version to 3.50.5 and add the release notes for the 63 commits since 3.50.4. VERSION_INFO moves to 3:26:0, a revision-only bump: nm -D and gdb ptype /o against 3.50.4 show no export or layout change. This bumps the version to 3.50.5 and adds the release notes for the 63 commits since 3.50.4. The library ABI does not change, so
VERSION_INFOmoves only its revision, to 3:26:0. Against 3.50.4,nm -Dlists the same 170 exports andgdb ptype /oshows the same offsets for every installed struct.
