| Project | For whom | |
|---|---|---|
| 🛡️ | Vaka | The safe Swedish browser for families and everyone else. Brave's ad-blocking engine built in, open family features, an AI security assistant. |
| 🦉 | Prowl | Vaka for security researchers and bug bounty hunters. Same engine, hacker tooling, dark by default. |
| 🌑 | Skugga | Everything through Tor, fail-closed, WebRTC locked. |
| 🫥 | Forget | Tor plus amnesia: the whole profile lives in RAM and is wiped on exit. |
All four share one codebase and ship together. All of them are open source under the MPL-2.0.
Most people never install an ad blocker, never check a link before clicking it, and never find out that their password leaked. Our browsers are for them. Protection is on from the first launch, it cannot be switched off by a browser vendor's extension policy, and nothing you do is sent anywhere to make it work.
- adblock-rust, the same engine that powers Brave Shields, with Brave's default filter lists and uBlock Origin scriptlets.
- A warning screen before dangerous pages render, backed by Säkerkoll's threat data.
- Zero-knowledge password manager and card wallet, encrypted with the key in the OS keychain.
- Vaka Family: child accounts that are open about what parents can see.
- Krypto, an AI security assistant in the sidebar.
- 54 languages. Swedish first.
