Good idea. See feedback inline. Please use git commit --amend and git push --force-with-lease to make an update instead of adding a new commit to keep the history tidy.

These changes make the navigation header dynamically change from "Login" to "Account" if the user is authenticated. I used the existing variable self.username to keep the implementation easy and simple.
