Introduction
Since release 3.4.12, the ProcessMaker plugin:
can override the GLPI notification default behavior.
provides a way to send spontaneous emails
Task notifications
By default GLPI behavior is to send the same notification for each task that are in an item (Ticket, Change, or Problem). This is what I called the GLPI notification default behavior.
The ProcessMaker plugin can override this behavior by adding two notification events (one for new task and one for task update) per task of a process. And such it is now possible to have different notifications for any process task.
The ProcessMaker plugin provides a way to send eMails.
This feature is linked to the newly added case variable named GLPI_SEND_EMAIL (see: Case Variables). It gives the possibility to a process to send any notifications to any receivers (GLPI users or emails).
