How to populate entries?

I love your stream, I want to use it for myself, to run locally on my Mac. I used brew to install oak. The stream runs. How do you create new entries?

I took a peak at main.oak, and I was able to figure out that /author is the main entry point. On that page there is everything needed to create a new entry, and delete any (with the timestamp). It takes markdown, which is awesome. There seems not to be an edit function. Am I correct?
