feat: Localization PR

I'm currently rebasing the internationalization changes on top of latest master, since you wanted to integrate it post 3.0 and that moment has come. The pr is gone since the changes have been made on top of master and they were too extensive, but I have the patches locally, I just need to slowly re merge the changes on top of it.

The work is not gone, it will pop up again (in a different name branch this time :P)
