Precut Pro is a Windows app for AMV and edit makers. It puts a shared library of anime precuts on your desktop, so you can find a scene, preview it and download it without digging through folders. The tools you keep opening while editing are built in too.
A precut library. Browse by anime, live action, cartoons, games or characters, or search the whole catalog. Every clip can be previewed before you download it.
It keeps track for you. Favorites, your download history and the shows you opened last are one click away.
Tools you'd open anyway. Scene Finder matches a screenshot to the precut it came from. Turn a link into an MP3 or MP4. Remove the background from a picture, right on your own PC.
Presets and packs. Grab presets and project packs that other editors shared.
Community. Posts, profiles and friends, for showing what you made. This part is still experimental.
Updates itself. When a new version is out, the app tells you and installs it for you.
Precut Pro is invite only. Anyone can download it, but you need a key to sign in.
Keys are given out in the Discord, for example during giveaways and other events, or by a friend who already has access.
Download PrecutProSetup.exe
from the latest release, run it and sign in with your key.
The setup isn't code signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may say it "protected your PC". Click More info and then Run anyway. Every release lists the SHA-256 checksum of its files.
You need Windows 10 or 11, 64 bit, and an internet connection. The app uses the Microsoft WebView2 Runtime, which comes with Windows 11 and most Windows 10 PCs.

Updates only replace program files. Your downloads, presets and packs stay where they are.
Your downloads, favorites and settings stay on your PC. The MP3 and MP4 converter and the background remover run on your PC as well. Signing in and the community tab need our servers, and the app asks GitHub whether a new version exists.
