hey, i'm reelsmith 👋

I make short-form video and e-commerce ads, and I build the tools I wish existed along the way. Most of what's here came out of real client and store work: getting clips post-ready, checking captions stay clear of the app UI, and getting product catalogues into Shopify without the importer choking.

safezone Browser tool that overlays the TikTok, Reels and Shorts UI on your frame so captions never land under the buttons. Live demo →
shopcsv Build Shopify product CSVs from a simple YAML file, and validate them before the importer rejects them

Currently: holiday-season product videos, and adding burned-in captions to reelkit.
