This is a great idea. I also suggest ensuring that shell completion scripts are installed along with the Homebrew formula.

The major roadblock for this is An Apple Developer Account ($99/year).

I contributed this once to homebrew but just didn't shepherd it to merge, which is my bad. I still have the branch and should be able to get it over the line, I will resurrect this.
