Can not deploy on iphone simulator

when we run the command (react-native run-android, it gives error:
Port 8081 already in use, packager is either not running or not running correctly

Command /bin/sh failed with exit code 2

These are the steps i tried to use different port for packager (in this case 8088):
instead of running the app on 8081, we can use other port like this:
react-native start --port=8088

Open the file: node_modules/react-native/React/React.xcodeproj/project.pbxproj file and replace 8081 with new port (in this case 8088)
executed the command again and it was successful. There is some other error coming on the app but it may not relate to this issue.
