Summary

The repository was not an empty create-next-app. It contained Multigram, a full-stack social app (database, cookies, route handlers, server actions). That app cannot be a static export, so its source is preserved under legacy/multigram instead of deleted.

The root app is now Upabode, a small in-browser rental listing finder:

  • 12 seeded homes, search, and filters (city, type, max rent, bedrooms, pets, furnished)
  • Listing detail dialog
  • Next.js static export with output: 'export' and basePath: '/upabode'
  • Vitest coverage for the filter and search functions
  • GitHub Actions workflow that lints, typechecks, tests, builds, and deploys out/ to GitHub Pages on pushes to main

Live credentials that were committed in render.yaml were removed from the preserved copy. Rotate the Pusher, UploadThing, and database credentials. The old values are still recoverable from git history.

Pages

The intended site is https://naveecode.github.io/upabode/

GitHub Pages is not enabled on this repo yet (the Pages API returns 404). I cannot change that repository setting from here. After merge, set Settings → Pages → Source to GitHub Actions. The deploy job only runs on main.

Test plan

  • npm test — 8 Vitest cases for search, combined filters, sort stability, and seed data
  • npm run lint
  • npm run typecheck
  • npm run build writes out/index.html and prefixes assets with /upabode/
  • Browser: Indiranagar search (1 home), Bengaluru filter (3 homes), listing dialog, clear filters back to 12, empty search state, and a 390px layout

The repo already held Multigram, a server app that cannot be statically
exported. Keep that source under legacy/multigram, strip committed
service credentials from the preserved Render config, and ship an
in-browser rental finder with Vitest coverage and a Pages workflow.
