Nami is free and open source under the Apache License 2.0. It is built by one person so that anyone — not just engineers — can put AI agents to work. If it earns a place on your desk, hit the ☆ Star at the top right. It is the only thing that helps other people find it.
Nami is a desk for AI agents. You open one folder on your Mac or PC, ask for something in plain English, and an agent gets to work in its own pane — while three others do something else beside it.

Nami only ever looks inside the one folder you point it at. Dictation runs on your own machine, so it works on a fresh install with no account, no key and no network. Every Mac build is signed and notarised by Apple, so it opens without a security warning. Every Windows build is signed by Dainami, so it installs without one too.
- Download it.
- Mac: get the .dmg and drag Nami into your Applications folder.
- Windows: get the installer and run it. While a release is new, Edge may say the file "isn't commonly downloaded". Choose …, then Keep, then Show more, then Keep anyway.
- Point it at one folder you work in. It never looks outside it.
- Ask for something. It finds the agents you already have.
On Windows, a few agents install through Git and Node, which Windows does not come with. Nami tells you when one is missing, with the one line that installs it.
