Python environment not found post update to 2025.14.0 #829
When trying to debug a python file in version 2025.14.0, I get the following error: Failed to resolve env "/"/(path to environment). Notice the odd "/" in front of my path to my environment. When trying to force the environment to my specific environment in launch.json using "python":"(path to environment)", I get the same error (the same "/" is included in the path).
consolidating all discussion to this issue thread: #826. I have a fix which I will get out but what would be great if you could check is if you have a executable with a space in it? This is likely the culprit and causes the bug to occur but if that's not the case for you please let me know and include you executable so I can take a look at what your issue might be
Hello! I have put out a release with the fix. It was release 5 minutes ago (so 11:39 PDT) and has the version 2025.15.2025101002 but this specific version number may different across machine types. Please give this a try and let me know if it works. Thanks!

Hi! I have a space in my path indeed. Your fix worked like a charm. Thanks!
