Update Challenge 4&5 to update on the screenshots and revised on the flow.

yelamanchili-murali and others added 6 commits August 2, 2026 21:22
Replace the legacy portal-driven VM labs with current Azure Confidential Computing samples for ACI and AKS.

- Rework Challenge 4 around side-by-side confidential and standard ACI runtime attestation.
- Rework Challenge 5 around the Azure Voting App and runtime attestation on an AMD SEV-SNP AKS node pool.
- Preserve pinned, unchanged upstream sample snapshots and document their source commits and localized MicroHack adaptations.
- Reuse attendee resource groups with deterministic naming, rerunnable deployment, and selective cleanup.
- Update challenge guidance, duration and cost notes, and remove superseded portal guides and screenshots.
- Include the Windows PowerShell-safe ConfigMap argument fix discovered during live Challenge 5 verification.

Validated both deployment workflows end to end, including ACI comparison, AKS confidential workload placement, MAA SEV-SNP claims, and cleanup.
Document the business and technical purpose of ACI CCE policy generation and Confidential VM Orchestrator. Simplify Challenge 4 reruns around explicit cleanup and remove cached images during cleanup.
Updated prerequisites and instructions for Challenge 4, including environment verification and deployment steps.
Updated prerequisites and troubleshooting sections for Azure Voting App automation deployment. Added details on PowerShell environment variables and potential errors during deployment.

This branch predates the recently merged Sovereign Cloud lab-automation and Challenge 4/5 redesign. It now conflicts with the current main versions of the README, both challenges (4 & 5), both solutions, and many existing assets. It also replaces the shared pre-provisioned Challenge 4/5/7 platform with separate participant-created ACI/AKS resources (these are now created automatically as part of the new Hackathon Console deployment).

Please merge/rebase current main and reconcile the intended delivery architecture before further review.

Also noticed that solution-04.md line 75 tells participants to clone the contributor’s fork: git clone https://github.com/yelamanchili-murali/MicroHack.git
This plain clone follows the fork’s default branch, currently 6113f57, which does not contain the latest PR commits. After merge, this should clone https://github.com/microsoft/MicroHack.git.
