TargetResource functionality with error message: Invoking web request failed with error. The remote name could not be resolved: 'ashcisandbox.azureedge.net' The SendConfigurationApply function did not succeed.

Is there a way to use another URL if 'ashcisandbox.azureedge.net' is down?

I have the same issue, I can see in the DCS logs on the Azure VM it repeatedly tries to connect to that URL that does not resolve, I assume because someone took down the Azure CDN config? I want an old version of HCI, 21H2 or 22H2, and HCIBox does not offer that.

I am seeing the same issue.

Looking at the DSC script (ashcihost.ps1) on the AzSHCIHost001 VM, I have validated that all of the links for the different VHDs that are being downloaded no longer work.
