Pick a browser for every link.
ChooseBrowser is a small macOS utility. Set it as your default browser once, and
every http/https link you click — in Mail, Slack, Notes, anywhere — opens a
compact chooser listing the browsers installed on your Mac. Pick one with a
click or ⌘1–⌘9, and the link opens there.
Download ChooseBrowser — a
notarized .dmg, free to try for 7 days.
The build is signed with a Developer ID certificate (LI GUO, team 6ZPXG4KVVS)
and notarized by Apple, so it opens on a double-click: no "unidentified
developer" warning and no right-click-to-open dance.
After the trial, a licence is US$1.99 — a one-time purchase, no subscription, and one key activates up to 3 Macs. Enter it under Settings → License.
Also on the Mac App Store.
Requires macOS 26.0 or newer.
Windows: a free Windows preview is available for Windows 10/11 (Simplified Chinese UI, unsigned). Unzip, run install.cmd, then pick ChooseBrowser for HTTP and HTTPS under Settings → Apps → Default apps.
Set ChooseBrowser as the default browser in macOS System Settings → Desktop & Dock. Open a URL covered by a rule and verify the browser, profile and destination page; also check an unmatched URL. A profile does not guarantee which account is signed in on a website.
