<h2>Short version</h2>
<p>launchcal does not collect, store or sell any personal data. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts. The site is a set of static files.</p>

<h2>What this site does</h2>
<ul>
<li>The page, its font, photo and launch data are all served from launchcal.github.io. The page makes no requests to other sites.</li>
<li>The countdown runs in your browser using your device's clock and time zone. Nothing about it is sent anywhere.</li>
<li>The "Copy ICS link" button writes a link to your clipboard. It does not read your clipboard.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Hosting</h2>
<p>The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log technical data such as your IP address when you load the page or a calendar feed, for security and operating the service. launchcal has no access to those logs. See the <a href="https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement">GitHub General Privacy Statement</a>.</p>

<h2>Calendar apps</h2>
<p>When you subscribe, your calendar app (for example Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook) fetches the calendar from Google or from launchcal.github.io on its own schedule. What that app and its provider record about you is covered by their privacy policies, not this one. launchcal cannot see who has subscribed.</p>

<h2>Links to other sites</h2>
<p>Webcast links and credits lead to other sites (such as YouTube, X, The Space Devs, NASA and GitHub), which have their own privacy policies.</p>

<h2>Changes and contact</h2>
<p>If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Questions: open an issue on <a href="https://github.com/launchcal/launchcal.github.io/issues">GitHub</a>.</p>

<p>By using launchcal.github.io or subscribing to its calendars, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the calendars.</p>

<h2>Unofficial project</h2>
<p>launchcal is an independent, non-commercial hobby project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX), NASA, The Space Devs, Google, Apple or Microsoft. "SpaceX", "Falcon", "Dragon", "Starship" and "Starlink" are trademarks of SpaceX, and other names are trademarks of their owners. They are used only to describe the launches listed.</p>

<h2>No guarantee of accuracy</h2>
<p>Launch times and details come from a third-party source and change often. Launches are delayed, scrubbed, moved or cancelled, sometimes minutes before liftoff, and the calendars can lag behind, be incomplete or be wrong. Updates can stop without notice. Always check official sources before making plans, such as travel to watch a launch. Do not rely on launchcal for any decision involving safety, money or travel.</p>

<h2>Provided "as is"</h2>
<p>The site and calendars are provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site or the calendars, including missed launches, travel costs or calendar data in your account. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.</p>

<h2>Your calendar</h2>
<p>Subscribing adds read-only events to your calendar app. You can remove the calendar at any time in that app. Events are marked as free time and carry no reminders of their own.</p>
