In Dual-Luciferase Reporter Assay System (of human olfactory receptors), do not normalize the Luciferase (Luc) of a well with its Renilla luciferase reading. Normalize it with the average of Luciferase reading Olfr544 with no odorant on the same plate. Read the details in this iPython notebook.
