Summary

Tightens the top of the README for a first-time visitor, without rewriting the rest.

  • Quickstart stays the curl one-liner plus signup, gander watch, and gander mcp install (four commands).
  • After that, one sentence on what gander watch does: the local file stays the source of truth, the short URL updates on save, reviewers comment in the browser, and @agent comments route to the coding agent.
  • Links gander.md and the live post at gander.md/blog/let-the-agent-write-the-plan (HTTP 200). Link text is the slug, not a title.
  • One soft star line at the bottom. No counts or traction claims.

Test plan

  • curl -sI on https://gander.md/blog/let-the-agent-write-the-plan returns 200.
  • Skim the README top: install, watch sentence, then the two links.
  • Confirm the star line is the last line and the rest of the README is unchanged.

After the quickstart, state that the local file stays the source of truth
and link the product site plus a live blog post. One soft star ask at the end.

Point the quickstart blog link at /blog/let-the-agent-write-the-plan
and show the slug as the link text.
