Desktop browser checks depend on the ordinary Google Chrome app. Use Playwright-managed Chromium as the default and install its headless runtime in the manual smoke workflow.

Validation: config discovery and managed-engine interactions passed on both Macs after ordinary Chrome removal; the homepage smoke passed against this Deploy Preview.
