Gather is a responsive, static event website demo for discovering events, viewing event details, and reserving tickets. It includes a guest dashboard and an admin demo dashboard.
Serve the project directory with any static web server. For example, with Python:
python -m http.server 8000Then open http://localhost:8000. Serving over HTTP is recommended so browser storage and page navigation behave consistently. The site has no build step or package installation.

Sign in at signin.html. The homepage and checkout also link to the sign-in flow when needed.
- Responsive event listing, format filters, event details, and upcoming/past calendar.
- Sign-in-gated reservations. After signing in, visitors continue to the selected event checkout.
- Group reservations for up to 5 tickets and corporate reservations for up to 20 tickets, capped by remaining event seats. Corporate requests are marked as requiring a verification call.
- Guest profile and reservation dashboard. Profile editing is disabled in the demo; selecting a reservation reveals its booking details.
- Admin dashboard with upcoming and past events, reservations, ticket totals, demo revenue, JSON import, and an event creation form.

events.schema.json, with an example inevents.example.json.
This is a front-end demo, not a production booking or account system. Demo credentials are visible in client-side code and must not be used for real accounts. Events, the signed-in demo role, and reservation records are stored in the current browser's localStorage; they are not shared between visitors or devices. Card details are not stored or sent, no payment is processed, and no confirmation email or corporate verification call is actually sent or made. Admin revenue is calculated from browser-stored demo reservations; corporate requests pending verification are excluded.
The homepage uses og.jpg, a 1200×630 share-preview image, at https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dwilson-coder/gather/refs/heads/main/og.jpg for Open Graph and Twitter metadata. The page identifies Damion Wilson for CodeBox LLC as author and includes the CodeBox LLC website, GitHub repository, LinkedIn profile, and Bluesky profile in its canonical/social metadata.
