Making Iron Man survival friendly #89

Open

Description

@Westankrang

Is your proposal related to a problem? Please describe.

The Iron Man suits are currently not obtainable in survival.

Describe the solution you'd like to propose

The MK1 suit would be crafted with a crafting recipe to be decided, then with the further upgrades (which we're limiting the suits to 1,2,3,5 and 42) you would have to use a computer and gantry to build a suit. However, to stop people bypassing the progression the to unlock the next suit we will use a skill tree type thing, you have to first find an issue with the current suit - like the icing problem, possibly we could add multiple issues with each suit so that the player isn't forced to read a wiki to enjoy the mod. To equip the suits:

  • MK1 works like normal armour
  • MK2/3 have to use the gantry to put on
  • MK5 is only equipped with the suitcase
  • MK42 flies to you

Additional context

    add survival crafting mechanics for iron man suits

    🛠️ Recommended implementation

    To implement this feature, we can introduce crafting recipes in a new class or method for Iron Man suits within the suit/ directory. The skill tree progression system can be managed through a new Power implementation in power/impl/ that tracks player advancements, ensuring they complete tasks before upgrading suits.

    labels and insight are a best guess, a maintainer will confirm.
