This is a demonstration/experiment in how to use the Rust FFI to create a C library and use that in Matlab through it's support for external C libraries.
So far demonstrations for the following are included:
- pass a c-style string to a rust library from Matlab
- add two doubles (f64s) in rust library
- from Matlab: create a struct in a rust library, hold a pointer to it, and pass the pointer back to free the struct instance in memory
- pass a Matlab matrix to rust library as a flat array, manipulate it, and see the results in Matlab
