I build media experiences for cars.
My production work is centered on Android Automotive OS, media/HMI engineering, platform behavior, performance investigation and feature ownership. I enjoy the point where a polished interface stops being "just UI" and starts depending on lifecycle, process boundaries, playback state, focus, OEM integration and system behavior.
Outside production work, I use my personal projects to go further down the stack.
Android at the surface. Systems at the core.

- Make ownership and boundaries explicit.
- Follow performance evidence instead of guessing.
- Keep platform behavior part of the product design.
- Use AI as an engineering tool, not as a substitute for understanding the code.
- Prefer reproducible evidence over impressive-sounding claims.
More about the engineering behind the projects
PandaWave separates Android platform concerns from a Rust client-domain engine through Binder/AIDL and JNI/FFI.
Canopy keeps control decisions in gRPC while Nginx handles the actual media byte path.
canopy-api gives those independently developed systems one explicit, versioned contract.
C++ Mastery is where I deliberately practice the lower-level mechanics behind ownership, lifetime and generic containers.
