Hey everyone,I'm submitting a custom YARA rule to detect a highly targeted, 52MB standalone malicious ELF binary that masquerades as the legitimate Linux containerd and dockerd system daemons.During analysis, the sample was found utilizing several advanced evasion and transport mechanics, including anti-virtualization traps (vmdetect/redpill), low-level CPU cycles checking (rdtsc), and a custom SOCKS5 proxy layer built over a WebSocket network protocol (gorilla/websocket).The rule has been tested against the sample and successfully isolates these compiled Go-to-C network bridges, D-Bus systemd persistence components, and Tor fallback tracking indicators (listen.onion).Credited to my alias, CyberCold.
