I am Uriel Manzur, an RT Embedded Engineer currently working at RAD R&D.
My professional focus involves developing and optimizing embedded C/C++ code for real-time systems, improving performance and reliability. I have experience integrating TCP/IP protocol stacks to enhance network communication efficiency. I extensively use Python for automation, testing, debugging, and deployment scripts.
I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University (BGU). My studies focused on Embedded Systems, Telecommunications, and Digital Signal Processing.
I was selected for the AI Leaders Program (2025) at RAD, where I deliver internal workshops focused on Copilot fundamentals and secure LLM use.
My technical projects demonstrate proficiency across embedded and modern software stacks:
- Photonic Neuromorphic-Chip Simulation: Built a Python + TensorFlow framework as a capstone project that modeled delayed-feedback optical neurons, achieving ~3Γ energy efficiency compared to a digital baseline.
- Motor Control System: Designed and implemented a real-time control system for a motor-based machine using C/C++ for the MCU and a Python interface utilizing PySimpleGUI and RS-232 for remote control and configuration.
- Hebrew Transcription Web App: Developed a Flask web application using Python and the
faster-whispermodel to transcribe audio and video into Hebrew text, supporting async job processing and Docker deployment. - Video Coding Analysis: Conducted studies comparing motion estimation algorithms such as Full Search and NNMP based on time efficiency and MSE.
I enjoy distance running and completed the Tel-Aviv Half-Marathon 2025. I also volunteered as a Perach mentor in math, physics, and Python.
