TagBites.IO.Zip

ZIP archive file system support for TagBites.IO, built on SharpZipLib. Read and write the contents of a .zip file (optionally password-protected) through the same FileSystem API used for local disk and other storages.

Install

dotnet add package TagBites.IO.Zip

Targets netstandard2.0. Depends on SharpZipLib.

Usage

using var fs = ZipFileSystem.Create("archive.zip");
// or, for a password-protected archive:
// using var fs = ZipFileSystem.Create("archive.zip", password: "secret");

var file = fs.GetFile("/reports/summary.txt");
file.WriteAllText("Hello world!");

var content = file.ReadAllText(); // "Hello world!"
