The downloadable assets (KEGG data, HMM libraries, the BLAST+, DIAMOND and HMMER binaries, WoLFPSORT) moved from SysBioChalmers/raven-data to CompMetEng/toolbox-assets. That repository now holds the assets of RAVEN, raven-toolbox, GECKO and geckopy. GitHub redirects the old URLs, so released versions keep working.

  • fetchRavenDataAsset is renamed fetchToolboxAsset and downloads from the new repository; there is no wrapper under the old name.
  • Its callers (downloadRavenBinaries, buildGlobalKEGGModel, getKEGGModelForOrganism), the offline-bundle script, and the comments, messages and docs that named raven-data are updated.
  • getPhylDist's help now says that keggPhylDist.mat ships with RAVEN and is derived from the KEGG taxonomy asset.

Tested on MATLAB R2023a: fetchToolboxAsset downloads kegg118_taxonomy.gz, and tBinaries (BLAST+, DIAMOND, HMMER for linux-x86_64) passes against the new repository.

#761 edits checkRaven.m, .github/scripts/assemble_offline_software.py and .github/workflows/tests.yml as well; the overlap here is single lines that name raven-data.

The same move in raven-toolbox: CompMetEng/raven-toolbox#172

raven-data moved to CompMetEng/toolbox-assets, which holds the downloadable
assets of RAVEN, raven-toolbox, GECKO and geckopy. fetchRavenDataAsset is
renamed fetchToolboxAsset and downloads from the new repository; every
caller and reference is updated.
