Flagging this against the current CVE row rather than asking for a change: 1.83.1 is itself affected by CVE-2026-84445. Per GHSA-2v4p-qf9q-27wj the 1.83.x line is vulnerable in >= 1.83.0, < 1.83.2, so this bump lands inside the vulnerable range and dev scan 34330594840 still reports the row.

It also does not affect either scanned image. comp/otelcol/otlp/components/statsprocessor is one of four modules outside go.work and outside the root build graph — with datadogconnector, pkg/dyninst/testprogs/progs and test/integration/serverless/src — so it reaches no shipped binary and #514 deliberately leaves all four at v1.80.0.

Still independently valid for its own module, but retargeting to 1.83.2 would make it worth merging. Tracked on #509.
