Simple Irc Client — iOS

Tauri 2 iOS shell for Simple Irc Client. It reuses the canonical frontend (../core) and the Rust IRC transport crate (../network-rs, sic-irc) exactly as the desktop and Android apps do — see ../PROJECT_STRUCTURE.md.

Architecture

• UI: ../core (React + TS + Vite). The kernel is transport-agnostic; core/src/network/irc/transport.ts auto-selects the Tauri transport inside a Tauri webview (iOS included — __TAURI_INTERNALS__ is injected there too).
• Transport: ../network-rs (sic-irc) via the thin Tauri glue in src-tauri/src/irc/ (shared verbatim with desktop/ and android/).
• No gateway dependency — connects directly to IRC over TCP/TLS.

Prerequisites

macOS only. tauri ios init/dev/build require Xcode and the Apple toolchain; they cannot run on Linux/Windows.

• macOS with Xcode (+ Command Line Tools) and the iOS Simulator
• Rust + the iOS targets: aarch64-apple-ios aarch64-apple-ios-sim x86_64-apple-ios
• CocoaPods (brew install cocoapods)
• An Apple developer signing identity (for on-device builds / App Store)

Build & run
