Mujeeb Muhideen

Software Engineer — Backend Systems, AI Platforms & Developer Infrastructure

I design and ship production software using Go and TypeScript. My experience spans API platforms, fintech systems, AI-powered applications, asynchronous processing, cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, and full-stack product development.

I enjoy building reliable systems that simplify complex infrastructure through clear APIs, thoughtful abstractions, and strong developer experience.

Selected production impact

  • At Swerv, I was one of two engineers responsible for building and operating an embedded-finance platform across backend services, cloud infrastructure, partner APIs, web dashboards, and mobile applications.
  • Designed public REST APIs used by nearly 20 partner businesses to integrate payments, virtual accounts, virtual cards, and other financial services.
  • Built platform capabilities covering wallets, ledger operations, transaction history, reconciliation, internal KYC, webhook delivery, OAuth, and asynchronous processing with Redis and Asynq.
  • Developed Swerv's Flutter consumer application, which reached approximately 100,000 downloads across iOS and Android.
  • At Tempo Labs, delivered AI-powered products for startup clients, including a server-side AI gateway that kept provider credentials and orchestration out of frontend applications while centralizing streaming and response handling.

Open source

A Go tool that migrates large MySQL databases to PostgreSQL — COPY loading from consistent snapshots, resumable checkpoints, data-driven type conversion, dry-run planning with data-quality scans, and a live web UI. Proven against a real 83-table production database: 8.5 million rows migrated end to end in about ten minutes with zero manual intervention.

An open-source file-management platform for S3-compatible object storage. It provides a Go API and Remix dashboard for managing files, applications, API keys, members, webhooks, custom domains, and resumable uploads across AWS S3 and Cloudflare R2.

Go · Chi · PostgreSQL · Redis · Asynq · Remix · S3/R2

A local-first, self-hosted developer workflow orchestrator built around explicit task graphs. Dagryn provides deterministic execution, dependency-aware scheduling, input-based caching, parallel tasks, and consistent behavior across local development and CI.

Speaking

Invited speaker at DevFest (2022–2025) and Google I/O Extended (2021–2023), presenting on Flutter, developer tooling, mobile engineering, and modern software development.

What I’m interested in

Backend, platform, infrastructure, developer-tooling, and full-stack engineering opportunities where I can design systems, own production software, and help products grow from architecture through deployment.
