Please do not open a public issue for a security vulnerability.
Report vulnerabilities privately through GitHub Private Vulnerability Reporting. If that option is unavailable, send a private message to the repository maintainer on GitHub.
Include as much of the following information as possible:
- A clear description of the vulnerability and its potential impact.
- Steps or a minimal example to reproduce it.
- The affected chapter, notebook, file, or dependency.
- Any suggested mitigation.
You can expect an acknowledgement within 7 days. The report will be assessed privately, and accepted issues will be fixed or documented as soon as practical. Reports that are not considered security vulnerabilities will receive an explanation when possible. Please do not disclose the issue publicly until the assessment is complete.
