Researchers in the humanities, data, and digital technologies gathered in a space for intellectual exchange, academic research, and scientific production. Founded in 2018 in association with the Postgraduate Program in Social Sciences (PPGCS) and the Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (ICTI/UFBA), the lab is registered in CNPq's Directory of Research Groups and partners with national and international research institutions.

- Digital data trace — the largest research collection of digital traces in Brazil for studying socio-technical dynamics on online platforms.
- Data mining for digital humanities — extraction algorithms for the web and digital social networks, with critical reflection on how digital tools shape humanities research.
- Disinformation and radicalization on Telegram — computational propaganda, coordinated influence operations, and hate speech, in partnership with InternetLab since 2021.
- Digital history — digitized documentary collections and new historiographical approaches to race, racism, and rights in the Americas, in collaboration with UNILAB.
