This is the first release of the KYC Python SDK, mirroring kyt-python.

Coverage:

  • Submissions: create, run, get, wait, list and export_pdf.
  • screen.

Fail-closed design:

  • ScreeningUnavailable is raised on 503 or screened:false, so an unscreened result is never returned.
  • is_unscreened() flags cases that ended in review with an error.
  • Unknown fields, which the API would silently drop, and bad enums are rejected before the request.

Evidence:

  • 11 tests against a local stub of the documented OpenAPI shapes (KYC-API #157).
  • examples/screen_name.py was run live against production: Vladimir Putin → HIT, 6 hits (OFAC SDN and EU Consolidated); Jane Q Public → CLEAR.

Install: pip install "git+https://github.com/Infinihash/kyc-python@v0.1.0". PyPI publication needs a trusted publisher to be configured on pypi.org, as with kyt-mcp and myai-sdk.

Submissions (create/run/get/wait/list/export_pdf) and sanctions screen,
fail-closed (ScreeningUnavailable on 503 or screened:false; is_unscreened
for review-with-error cases), local validation of entity types, risk
tiers and fields the API would silently drop. 11 tests against a stub of
the documented shapes; screen example verified live against production
(HIT 6 / CLEAR 0).
