Contributing to GenX

We strive to follow the 'Git Flow' development model. See for example, this original post on the topic or Atlassian's guide.

We welcome contributions in the form of Issues and Pull Requests (PRs).

Pull Request Checklist

1. The new code has been tested.
2. There is documentation, if needed.
3. The CHANGELOG has been updated, if needed.
4. Relevant parties have agreed on whether this is a 'merge', 'squash', or 'rebase', and asked not to hit the Big Green Button until this is clear.
5. The merge message should be edited to be clear and descriptive.
