Description

The profile management page implemented in #32 currently supports initial (mandatory) profile completion. This issue extends that page to also support editing already-saved personal information after the initial setup, so users can keep their details current over time.

Scope

  • Add edit functionality to the existing profile management page from [US2-1] Display Account Profile on My Profile Management Page #32 (same role-aware fields: student vs. tutor).
  • Pre-fill the form with the user's current saved information.
  • Submit updated values and persist changes to the user's profile.
  • Validate edited fields using the same rules as initial profile completion.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Given a user opens the profile management page, when the page loads, then their current personal information is pre-filled
  • Given the user updates one or more fields, when they save the changes, then the updates are accepted
  • Given changes have been saved, when the profile page is loaded again, then the saved changes are reflected
  • Given a field is edited, when it is validated, then the same validation rules as initial profile completion apply (per role)
  • Given invalid data is submitted, when the user saves, then clear validation errors are shown and no changes are saved

Out of Scope

  • Changing email or password (assumed to be handled by separate account/security settings).
  • Changing role (student/tutor) after registration.
