### Enabling Redis Persistence (AOF)

A Redis database runs with Redis' default persistence (RDB snapshots, no append-only file). To enable the AOF, override the start command from the **Run Command** field in the **Advanced** tab.

- **Command**: `/bin/sh`
- **Args** (one entry each): `-c`, then `redis-server --requirepass "$REDIS_PASSWORD" --appendonly yes --save 3600 1`

The `REDIS_PASSWORD` environment variable is set by Dokploy, so the command can reference it instead of containing the password.

Click **Deploy** after saving to apply the new command. To confirm:

```bash
redis-cli -a "$REDIS_PASSWORD" config get appendonly
# 1) "appendonly"
# 2) "yes"
```
