Dhev-1/README.md
Dhev Arjun A I — systems that can explain themselves. Chennai, India. Arch + Hyprland. Rust, Python, QML.
A terminal session: cargo test exits 101 with an unhelpful error, then welp reports that the active toolchain is nightly while rust-toolchain.toml pins 1.82.0, and suggests rustup override set 1.82.0

welp, doing the thing it exists to do

Selected work. ORCA — marine safety advisory — a refusal you can audit. Causa — microservice root-cause — a verdict you can defend. welp — shell failure triage — rules, not guesses. the house — compositor shell — a scope it states out loud. Replay Trader — market replay — same inputs, same session. bjak — six-deck blackjack — an edge measured, not claimed.

ORCA fuses ISRO, INCOIS, DGLL and NOAA feeds into go/no-go guidance for Indian fishermen. The reasoning layer can be probabilistic; the safety policy cannot — every hard constraint is deterministic Python, so a refusal is reproducible and traceable to the data that caused it.

Causa answers the only hard question during an outage: which failure is the cause and which are downstream victims. It reconstructs the incident as dependency graphs, ranks the root-cause service with a confidence score and a plain-language why, then gates remediation behind a human and a canary.

welp diagnoses your last failed command from context the shell already had — exit code, toolchain state, config on disk. Rules, not guesses: no model call, no network, and small enough that the hook never makes your prompt feel slow.

Currently: ORCA — hardening the deterministic safety policy; welp — more rules, until it earns silent trust; the house — folding the widgets into layer-shell; reading — compilers, distributed systems.
