ZMQ write() with a tuple drops simtime, reader loses the first value #605

Open

Description

@bhuvan-somisetty

Passing a tuple to concore.write() on a ZMQ port skips the simtime prefix, because write() only adds it for lists (concore_base.py line 378). The reader then strips the first data value as simtime.

concore.write("p", "u", (1.5, 2.0))   # writer simtime = 5
concore.read("p", "u", "[0,0]")       # -> ([2.0], True), simtime becomes 1.5

Expected: treat tuples like lists, or reject them like the file port does (line 407).

Tested on main at 1aca203, Python 3.12.10, pyzmq 27.1.0
