Editor frequently freezes

I am finding that the editor frequently freezes upon first opening. Neither arrow keys nor typing work.

Copying and pasting the URL in a new tab generally gives me a window I can type in.

Using Firefox on Windows 11.

I noticed on one of these occasions that the frozen version was an earlier edit stage...i.e. at some point, I had added "WASM" to the Web Python 3.2 declaration, but after I clicked on "edit", I arrived back at the version without this declaration, and the windows was frozen. Refreshing the page or copying the URL into a new tab gave me the updated version and unfroze the window.

I have not seen this behavior, but I don't generally use Firefox or Windows, so that may be why? If you can share any specific situations that produce this reliably, that would be helpful. Thanks!

Just to confirm: the editor is still sometimes freezing when I return to edit the program after running it.

If I'm in the editor and it is working, it continues to work indefinitely, as long as I stay in the editor.
It is only when there is an intervening "run" and I try to return to the editor that it may freeze.

I just copied a program using the "Copy" option at the folder level. When this first opened in the editor, it was also frozen.

I haven't been able to reproduce this locally. Leaving it open for now, but to investigate further I'll need more specific reproduction details:\n\n- Browser version and OS version\n- Exact steps starting from a fresh page load\n- Whether it happens only after Run → Edit, or also on direct edit-page loads\n- Whether refreshing the frozen editor page fixes it\n- Whether opening the same URL in a new tab fixes it\n- Any JavaScript console output when the editor is frozen\n- Whether it still happens with Code hints disabled and/or in a private browser window/fresh profile\n\nIf anyone can provide a small reliable repro case, that would help a lot.
