Become a sponsor to Institute for Complexity Science and Advanced Computing
ICSAC, the Institute for Complexity Science and Advanced Computing runs open review for complexity science, information theory, nonlinear dynamics, and computing and AI. An AI-assisted panel reviews each paper. A human curation team checks the panel. Submit in any format and get reviews in days, not months. Accepted papers publish in Persistence, the Institute's journal, online first and then in its annual print paperback and ebook. The full editorial record publishes alongside each one.
No fees. No APCs. No institutional gatekeeping. Authors keep their copyright. Every accepted paper gets a DOI under ICSAC's own prefix, and a preprint keeps its own DOI, linked to the published article. Only a free ORCID account is required to submit.
Why sponsor
Sponsorship funds the editorial pipeline (compute for the AI-assisted panel, Persistence print production, DOI registration, infrastructure) and keeps ICSAC free for authors. Every dollar offsets a cost the author would otherwise pay at a legacy journal.
Sponsors don't see submissions, influence curation, or get editorial preference.
What we've built
- Open editorial system: github.com/ICSAC/editorial-system, also mirrored on Hugging Face
- Public review records: every accepted paper publishes the full panel review
- Persistence Volume 1 (2026): six articles online so far, five of them the founding papers. Print edition May 2027.
Where the money goes
Pipeline compute, DOI registration, Persistence layout, paperback print and ISBNs, domains and hosting, and the author-side infrastructure that keeps submission free.
