Timed results don't start occasionally.

Not sure why it happens or how to repro. May be a one off thing, but results occasionally don't start and the timer goes negative. Might not even be a bug anymore. I'll leave this here and if no one repros for a while, I'll close it.

Might take a bit of a rework of the timer system because right now it's hacked together.

Rework is done in c44d575. It is either more broken or less broken. Intended behaviour is better defined. I'll probably close this 2-4 weeks after unstable is updated if the issue doesn't occur again.
