Codeman 1.32.0: an installer that asks three questions, two sessions side by side, and a phone composer

Codeman 1.32.0 is out. The installer got rebuilt around three questions and a QR code, the desktop can show two sessions side by side, and phones finally have a proper place to write a prompt.

The installer asks three questions, then leaves you alone. curl -fsSL https://getcodeman.com/install | bash used to ask about ten things on a fresh box, half of them after a multi-minute build, with sudo prompts sprinkled in between, and the question that matters most (how do I reach the dashboard) came last. It now looks at the machine first, asks how the dashboard should be reachable (Tailscale, your network, or this machine only), optionally what to call the machine on your tailnet, and whether to run Codeman as a service, then does everything else unattended behind progress lines with the output in ~/.codeman/install.log. One consent covers every missing package, sudo asks once, and it ends on the URL with a QR code you scan with your phone. install.sh status prints that screen again any time. If another app already owns :443 on your node, Codeman goes under https://<node>/codeman instead of giving up, and flags like --tailscale --service answer the questions from the command line. On the way it fixed a bug that has been there for a while: the installer's own npm install let the postinstall start a stray server on port 3000, so the service it wrote a minute later crash-looped while the screen said "running".

Two sessions side by side. Turn on the Split button in App Settings and the desktop shows a second live session beside the active one, with its own terminal and a divider you can drag. When either side ends, the view collapses back to one pane. Thanks @timkjr, who turned five review rounds around in two days and measured the pointer-capture edge case in a real browser rather than reasoning about it.

Write prompts on your phone in a real editor. The agent keyboard bars on phones now have a Compose key: a multiline editor with autocorrect, per-session drafts that stay in memory, image attach, and a Send that delivers the whole thing as one paste plus Enter. Anything you had already typed into the terminal comes along. Thanks @DodgyBadger, a first-time contributor who took the scope back down to one slice when asked and verified the delivery path against a live tmux pane.

The model picker puts the ready model first. With a custom endpoint that has several models, the Run menu now promotes the model llama-swap already has loaded to the top, tagged "Currently loaded", or the one you last launched there, tagged "Last used". Nothing is auto-chosen and the default keeps its own pill. The Run menu also lost eight copy-pasted launch functions in favour of one table that a CI test keeps in step with the CLI registry, with no behaviour change. Thanks @opticon454 for both, and for proving the refactor byte-identical across 288 launch permutations instead of arguing it.
